Our Ladies Philoptochos Society is a small group of women who work together to support the needs of the church as well as charities in the community such as the Santa Fund of the Lakes Region, Hands Across the Table and the Metropolis of Boston's Philoxenia House which provides a "home away from home" for those seeking medical treatment in the Boston area.
The ladies manage the pastry sale at our annual summer festival in July as well as at Laconia's Multicultural Day in September. Also, our annual Pastry Fair featuring traditional Greek pastries, meat pies and other holiday desserts, is held on the 2nd Saturday in November.
The ladies are also responsible for the decoration of the church for Pascha services and welcome new membership and participation at any of these events.
Dates and times for our meetings as well as the events above will be listed on this page as they are available.
Please contact the Philoptochos at 603.524.9415 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information or to be placed on the email contact list.
